We undertake several fundraising events throughout the year from bake sales to triathlon’s, and for our latest event we wanted to do something that could involve all staff no matter their fitness levels and therefore, we have come up with the idea of a sponsored cycle ride to coincide with the 2019 Tour de France.
Obviously, participating in the Tour de France is not an option! So instead we have decided to simulate the ride from our office here in Macclesfield, down through the country, across the sea into France and through to Belgium all in time for the start of the race on Saturday 6th July.
The PCS team will start its Race to the Tour on Thursday 4th July for the British leg of the journey and continue the sea crossing/European mainland leg on Friday 5th. PCS is proud to support The Matthew Nicholls Foundation. The Foundation was set up by Rob Nicholls, owner of Plastic Card Services and his wife Rachel after their son Matthew completely unexpectedly took his own life at the age of 24. He was living and working in London and sharing his talent and love of music through musical performance and Rob always talked proudly about Matthew’s natural music and song-writing skills. Matt had so much more to give and therefore Rob and Rachel have set up The Matthew Nicholls Trust to enable young people to develop their musical skills in his name.

All donations and messages of support will be gratefully received!
We would also like to thank DW Fitness Macclesfield for kindly providing us with bikes to use during this challenge!
