About us
Precision Card Services (PCS) based in Macclesfield, Cheshire is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of made from 100% recycled plastic and eco-degradable PVC and paper-board cards, all of which can be recycled at end of life. Since its establishment in 1993, PCS has been providing a full end-to-end service to its customers, earning an enviable reputation within the print and card industry. With a workforce of around 40 industry-leading professionals, PCS takes pride in producing cards that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
In 2018, Precision Card Services invested around £1 million to create a dedicated digital printing facility housed on its existing site to cater for customers requiring shorter-run orders. This was further enhanced with the launch of the Plastic Card Hub, a fully automated web-to-print ordering platform that allows customers to price, design, proof and pay for their bespoke card orders and have them dispatched within just a few days.
Precision Card Services is a highly commended company having won multiple awards for its exceptional products, services and practices, most recently being named SME of the Year at the Printweek Awards, the winner of the Workflow, including e-commerce category at the Digital Printer Awards, and being recognised as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work in the UK.
In 2023, Precision Card Services was acquired by the Woodberry Packaging Group, a move that has helped the company expand its operations, workforce, and expertise within the printing industry.
