Card manufacturer, Precision Card Services (PCS), has secured a new contract with Barburrito. The deal will see the Macclesfield manufacturer roll out a fresh new loyalty card and key fob design for the fast food chain.

The company will supply cards for Barburrito’s 100,000 strong loyalty scheme which operates across its ten Mexican-inspired outlets in five major UK cities.

Following its transfer to an electronic card scheme in December 2011, the restaurant chain sought a new card supplier to support its mission to improve and expand its loyalty offering.

Stephanie Wyatt, marketing coordinator at Barburrito, explained: “PCS’s insightful approach was excellent and the company really understood the needs of our business. They guided us through the whole process from beginning to end and were always on hand to offer advice.”

Adam Unsworth, sales director at PCS, said: “Our previous experience working with brands in this area meant we fully understood Barburrito’s needs. In the fast-casual food sector, a speedy service is key to creating a satisfying customer experience and loyalty cards must therefore be designed in a way that facilitates this. We were able to suggest improvements to the card design to enable quick swiping at the till.”

Stephanie concluded: “We recognise the importance of our loyal customers and this new card and fob design will enable them to easily collect the points they deserve.”

Barburrito is the latest big brand to work with PCS, which has also collaborated with Holland & Barrett, Dunelm Mill and Coop Danmark. In recognition of its business success over the past year and continued commitment to its employees, PCS was recently named Business of the Year (turnover over £1m to £5m) at the 2013 Macclesfield and Wilmslow Business Awards.
