Precision Card Services (PCS) in Macclesfield has provided the LoveLocalLife initiative with an important boost this week by giving 5000 new cards to the cause.
The cards will enable more Cheshire residents to get involved in the successful loyalty scheme, which provides discounted goods and services to local people and keeps trade close to home.
Mandy Fazelynia, who devised the initiative, and has rolled it out across Macclesfield, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Bramhall, said the donation was most welcome.
“To get more people engaged in LoveLocalLife we need to have cards ready to give them. Once they have the cards people do use them. PCS’s generous support will play its part in making sure our local towns and villages stay alive.”
The cards are made using the latest biodegradable materials by PCS who produce over 50 million cards a year for retail giants like Next, Ikea and Iceland and major brands including Virgin, Ford, and npower.
Welcoming the support was Robin Jones at Serendipity in Macclesfield. “This scheme has really benefited us. The more cards we can get to people, the more they can spend with us. It’s great news for business locally.”
Rob Nicholls, MD of Plastic Card Services, said the firm had a long association with the retail sector and was keen to help out. “Keeping business vibrant is everyone’s challenge. This is just a small contribution to Mandy’s astonishing work with the LoveLocalLife project. It’s a great scheme and deserves everyone’s backing.”
LoveLocalLife covers a wide range of services from food and drink to business support, pets and photography now across four of Cheshire’s most affluent communities. It currently has 13,000 cards in circulation and is working with over 150 local businesses.
