Membership Plus has partnered with commercial card manufacturer, Plastic Card Services (PCS), to produce over 75,000 membership cards for the UK’s biggest theatre membership scheme.

The leading print and mailing solutions provider worked with PCS to develop the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) Theatre Card, which was launched this week at London’s Piccadilly Theatre.

ATG Theatre Card is the very first UK-wide theatre card, offering a range of benefits that customers can use in their local theatre, other ATG theatres in major cities and tourist areas around the UK.

The exclusive card is accepted at 39 venues across the UK and in the West End, with benefits including priority tickets, ticket offers, no booking or postage fees on most shows, priority brochure mailing, fee free ticket exchange, and 10% savings on pre show and interval drinks. Members will also have the chance to attend special events such as launch nights and Q&As with cast and creative teams.

Howard Panter, ATG Joint CEO & Creative Director, said: “The unique feature of the ATG Theatre Card is that it gives loyal customers exclusive access to benefits and special offers across our entire portfolio of UK venues including 12 in the West End.”

Membership Plus is managing the overall contract including arranging the print, mailing and fulfilment, while their trade partner, PCS was responsible for manufacturing the plastic membership cards.

Steven Grieve, Managing Director, Membership Plus, said: “Developing the entire solution for this new membership scheme has been a great team effort. The whole process, from consultation with ATG on the requirements of the scheme, to print, production and mailing has been seamless.”

Paul Hansford, National Account Manager, Plastic Card Services Ltd, added: “Membership card schemes such as this remain very popular, particularly within the leisure sector, where incentives and rewarding loyalty can be a key differentiator. I am sure that the new scheme will help boost the popularity of the theatre.”
