We are delighted to announce that Plastic Card Services has been named as one of five top places to work in the UK’s plastics industry at the inaugural PRW Best Places to Work in the UK Plastics Industry programme.
The process was managed for PRW by Best Companies Group (BCG) who specialise in identifying and recognising highly regarded employers in the UK and North America. Companies who registered to participate in the programme were required to complete an employer questionnaire accounting for 25% of the overall evaluation. This was then followed by a request for staff to complete an anonymous employee engagement and satisfaction survey, designed to evaluate their workplace experience and organisational structure.
These two sets of data were then collated and assessed by BCG analysts to determine the strengths and opportunities in each company. Speaking about the awards, BCG’s Andrew O’Kelly said that the survey found that “an incredible 86%” of staff working for the winning firms could be deemed ‘engaged employees’, versus an average score of 35%.

The anonymity offered by this process ensured that the answers given were an honest reflection and we are absolutely delighted that it has shown that not only do they believe in our company’s ethos and that their work really matters, but importantly they believe they are being treated fairly and with respect. It also highlights areas we could improve upon which we have already started addressing.”
