Time Out London has awarded a 25,000 unit contract to national plastic card manufacturer, Plastic Card Services (PCS). The deal will see PCS create a card for a brand new discounts and benefits programme – initially for London – providing offers and benefits across a range of activities from restaurants, to theatres and zoos.
Working collaboratively with loyalty marketing technology specialists Footfall 123, The Time Out Card has been created by PCS, providing a high-end, stylish card design with a black exterior and red core reflecting Time Out London’s widely recognised brand image.
Ray Jones, business development director at Time Out London said: “Time Out is an iconic brand, and the Time Out Card is the latest in a series of developments which are enabling us to help Londoners make the most of their city. For such an important launch it was vital that the card reflected the characteristics of the programme – cool, aspirational and great quality. PCS have done a great job of creating such a card.”
Adam Unsworth, sales director at PCS added: “Working alongside Time Out London has been a great opportunity to demonstrate our dedication to quality, while embracing the latest technologies. The use of state of the art manufacturing techniques has allowed us to create a unique, premium card that really has that ‘wow’ factor. We’re looking forward to continuing our partnership with Time Out and supporting the roll out of the discounts and benefits programme.”
Ben Chesser, founder of Footfall123, adds: “Our technology allows the company and its merchants to undertake real-time analysis to monitor the effectiveness of each individual offer as well as providing a secure platform that eliminates fraud. With a brand such as Time Out, it is essential that the entire proposition demonstrates quality and the PCS product, alongside Footfall123’s technology does just that.”
